Neighborhood Connections
Web of Care Program: Connecting and Supporting Our Community by Neighborhoods
The Web of Care is a new program in the Fellowship that has been created to foster connections and deepen community among members and friends who live near each other. The designated geographical neighborhoods (see below) are overseen by volunteer Neighborhood Connectors. The Connectors will organize at least one social event during the year to help members and friends get acquainted. The Web of Care is also replacing the previous Caring Committee, so the Connectors are also the points of contact when individuals/families have special needs (meals, transportation to Sunday services or appointments, childcare, and visits to those who are ill or elderly). Neighborhood Connectors also make referrals to Rev. Lydia for pastoral needs within their neighborhoods. Below are the neighborhoods and the names of the Neighborhood Connectors. To obtain contact information for the Neighborhood Connectors, please use the BVUUF on-line Directory.
