About Boulder Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, BVUUF

With its historical roots in the Jewish and Christian traditions, Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion. We believe that personal experience, conscience, and reason should be the final authorities in religion.

Our seven guiding principles are: The inherent worth and dignity of every person; Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations; Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth; A free and responsible search for truth and meaning; The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process; The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all; and Respect for the interdependent web of all existence.

BVUUF is a welcoming congregation, which means we gladly include Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender persons among our members. We have a thriving Children’s and Teens’ Religious Education program. We also offer Adult Religious Education programs with a rich variety of topics.

The congregation is self-governing, with a Board of Trustees, a Minister and a Ministerial Intern, operating committees, task groups and a growing staff. We are a dynamic and growing congregation with about 300 active members.
